This course provides more than 24 hours of foundational training on best practices for machinery lubrication and oil sampling. Designed for in-plant technicians responsible for daily lubrication tasks and basic lubricant analysis, Machinery Lubrication I establishes best practices for machine condition monitoring, oil changes, top-ups, greasing bearings, lubricant receiving and proper storage and care of lubricants. Additionally, the course covers care/handling of dispensing devices and a basic overview of oil sampling, contamination control and problem detection.
This course is aligned with the ICML body of knowledge for the following certifications:
Machinery Lubrication Technician, Level I Certification (MLT I)
Machinery Lubrication Analyst, Level I Certification (MLA I) - ISO 18436-4
